Rug Hooking for Beginners

Ages 16+

Making a traditional hooked rug is fun and easy. Learn the basics from start to finish. With a rug hook (similar to a crochet hook) you pull a narrow strip of wool cloth into loops, through a loosely woven linen foundation. Using colors of your choice, you outline and fill in the shapes to make the hooked picture, suitable for a table or wall decoration.
