Planning & Zoning
The Department of Planning and Economic Development provides the following services for land use applicants:
- Assistance in reviewing property records.
- General planning and zoning advice.
- Review, processing, and advice on variances, conditional uses, subdivisions, and site plans.
- Review, processing, and issuance of zoning permits.
The Town of Milton has created a search function for our permit records. The last 5 years of zoning permit and certificate of compliance records are available with the associated PDF documents. You can also find some Development Review Board and Public Works permits. This is currently in the development stages, so there may missing PDF documents or entries for permits that are recorded in the Land Records. If you find any missing or inaccurate information, please contact the Planning & Zoning staff for zoning permit and development review questions, and Public Works for any access, water, sewer or excess weight permit questions.
*This is not the official tool to use for title search purposes. We recommend that you view the Land Records to perform title searches as the Town of Milton records a Memorandum of Municipal Action of all zoning permits, certificates of compliance and development review actions per state statute.
