K-9 Program

The Milton Police Department's K-9 program is a specialized program that targets narcotics trafficking, use, and prevention. The K-9 is also specially trained for patrol functions such as building searches, tracking, officer protection, subject apprehension, and locating evidence. 

The Milton Police K-9 program is dedicated to serving the Town of Milton in crime prevention and community-based policing efforts.

The Milton Police Department's current K-9 team is comprised of Officer Noi Jones and K-9 Biscotti.

Corporal Jason Porter and K-9 Hatchi

Milton Police Department K-9 handler Corporal Jason Porter and retired K-9 Hatchi served the citizens of the Town of Milton with distinction from July 2013 until October 2019. Cpl. Porter and K-9 Hatchi were Milton's first K-9 Team. K-9 Hatchi, a male German Shepherd, was certified in drug detection, patrol, and tracking. K-9 Hatchi retired for medical reasons and lives out his retirement with his handler Cpl. Porter.
